2029 Online

Oh hay! Have you guyz seen any aliens lol?

2029 is an on-line multi-player game in a sci-fi universe. There are 3 races, the Humans, the Elfs and the Dryads. I’ll leave it to you to figure out the rest. 2029 is completely and utterly free. Let me say that again, you can go on-line and play a superbly developed, 3D immersive multi-player game for free for as long as you play it, wherever you go.

Interacting with the world is done almost entirely with your mouse. There are some keyboard shortcuts, but nothing extraordinary. Aside from that, in many ways this is your normal MMORPG. You wander around exploring. You talk to people. You go on quests. You work on skills.

Prepare to be blasted in the face.

There are a fantastic amount of items in the game. That is part of the leveling up process, being able to craft your own gear. It’s hard to explain but it’s part of what sets this game apart. That, in addition to the incredible graphics, the 3D interface and the smoothness of the rendering make this a top notch game.

I am always hesitant to download a gaming platform, but man was this easy. I budgeted myself an hour to get it up and running, but this got up and running within a half an hour. And I don’t even have a fast computer.

There were no glitches getting started, and there was no drag or skipping. I don’t think my computer is infested with malware either. I never had to deal with it, but it looks like from the forums that they have a really great commitment to customer service. They even have 24/7 support. Nuts.

Where to begin? In many ways this is like any multiplayer game. You join a guild. Your guild battles for dominance in a cycle that continues ad infinitum. However there is more to it than that. You can hire mercenaries for starters.

There is a ‘n00b camp’ that you have to graduate from in order to get into the real world, but man that does not mean that your mettle is not going to be tested. There are people out there who don’t want you to be alive, and they will do their best to see fit that their wishes are fulfilled.

Final Verdict

Great game for the price. Great environment and a refreshing game that will test your skills as an elf, dryad or human.

Yeah. It’s basically a free Diablo. Enjoy yourself.
