Alright, here are the new rules to identify cheaters.
* Do NOT post in the forums if you suspect someone of cheating! Please PM (=private message) one of the investigators (=Lucjan, Risen, Adame11 (or if you can't (?) Chris, Bolder or me)). They will then investigate and post the results publicly if necessary. This will prevent people from falsely being accused. * Also, even if nobody is PMing them, I go investigate fraud from time to time! * Some people suicide into one another. It does NOT automatically mean that someone is cheating. Also, if I send someone "gold", it does not mean I am a cheater either ... * It can also be that two people who are friends play together, so be absolutely sure they're the same person, not a bunch of friends who aren't a clan
Note: Please don't send me a PM everytime you see someone suiciding. Make sure it happens in other games too ...

Sooooo.... when do I get mod powers so I can edit/update this?
Disclaimer: I intend to be extremely lazy with mod powers, if it doesn't pertain to something directly related to cheating and it's not legitimate spam, there's a 99.999% chance I'm not even going to think about touching it. That is other people's job. But some of this stuff really does need an update.

You are a moderator now! Actually, biohazard could have assigned you moderator rights as well. Is he going to be back?

I don't know, I've spoken to him several times in the last few months, but he hasn't given me any good answer about whether or not he's coming back.
I'll ask him again.

I would like to see Bio come back but I can understand if he's unable to. If he can't that raises the question; does the uber moderator spot need to be filled? If there is a need, may I suggest TravisII as he has been the most active or the most bored mod. Which then raise the question if a mod is promoted to uber do we now need to replace that mod with someone? Also at one point there was mention of a shortage of investigators. Is that still the case where we have mods and investigators that are MIA? Is it time to clean house and re-staff? With AoC expanding to Android and the iPhone and with v3 due out this year. I would think that more people would be asking questions and reporting possible cheats. So is the AoC forum properly staffed for the future demands?

I vote travis for ubermod. On the note of investigators. I'm currently the only investigator here. Risen hasn't been on the game in months and adame11 has been MIA for much longer than that. If I disappeared, you guys would end up nominating an entirely new time. We all know I'm too damn stubborn to let that happen. However, it would be nice to have another person for people to report to, just for the sake of making the investigators more accessible and our presence more visible. King Howard has previously offered to take up the mantle, and I would welcome him, but ultimately these decisions are up to the community and Aschi.

i will serve as a cheat investigator if the community/aschi wishes it. but only as a 'regular' investigator. Luc should be the Uber, and the only one with the power to adjust ratings/freeze accounts. as i see it, my role would be to research player inquiries and discuss 'probables' with Luc. after which he could perform any adjustments/freezings necessary.
but we need 3 in my opinion!!! even if i'm appointed as an investigator we still need 1 more.

New personnel has been assigned: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3488@lucjan: you will have to add 1 more investigator to complete the set (total of 3). You should have the power to add/remove members from the Investigator group now.
