Hi there:
1. How do you save a game in single-player campaigns?
2. How do I change the intelligence of the AI?

1. Saving games in single player mode is currently not possible in V2. I don't remember if this will be possible in V3.
2. Again, this is not possible in V2. There was talk about this in the past and if I remember correctly, the community will be able to create their own AI's and they'll be usable by anyone.
