 Post subject: Troop Types WIP?

Ahoy!

Hax here

I recently just got back to DON and was thrilled to dsicover that we might be getting a troop types update. In DON, factions possessing the identical troops really kills immersion and brings down the quality of the game. For example, if I'm playing as Germania, I want my swordsmen to be look like a fierce barbarian warrior instead of a legionnaire. Also, if new unit types were added, the longevity and re-play ability of the game would drastically increase.

However, the last news of this was when it was announced on June 29. I was wondering if this update is still currently in WIP or delayed for a later date.

It's in the works! The artist completed most of it. Still missing are some fighting animations. However, graphics should be done within the next few weeks. After that we'll integrate into the existing maps. :kg:
