I'm playing as the Sardinia's or Sardinians whatever you like to call them I did own most of modern day italy and the 2 starting islands now I'm starting to struggle I've asked my allies to join me but they refused to.
I'M doing anything necessary to stop the hordes of invaders, I'm nearly bankrupt only 66 gold left now.

I hope the AI isn't cheating I notice new units are created everytime a move is made.

Is it possible for anyone to join in on the game?
It is single player mode though.

Also will their be different periods of demise of nations once Rome is done?
I think it would be interesting to see.

No one could join you, since it is singleplayer.

Different periods are always possible, however I doubt we will see anything that stretches beyond (or before) what are current graphics represent.

Ah so it would need a completely new engine?

Technically no, just more graphics for different time periods.

Need a hand? No problem!

Before I can help you out, you need to answer some questions that I have.

1). What difficulty are you playing on(Normal, Hard, Inhuman)?

2). Who and how many people are you at war with?

3). What's your current economy?
