Please post here if the Demise of Nations server is down!
This goes into my email inbox which I check very regularly (every 5 minutes). Please note, I don't respond to emails while I am sleeping.
If the chat in the game is still working (most likely as not connected to the database which has most likely the problems), try to shout out to the moderators of the game! They have the power to reboot as well.

@DON Moderators: if you don't mind, please subscribe to this topic by email, so you get a notification also when the server is down. I sometimes sleep, so even though I get the notification, I will most likely not wake up! Thanks

I restarted the server - sorry for the delay! Please note though it seemed to work for me (and others that appeared online) just fine!?

That makes sense! If you login outside of Steam it should have worked then!? You can use your Steam-account and login outside of Steam also although you need to set a password first.
I'll have a closer look later. I assume everything is back to normal now!?

was that perhaps the player's issue in the first place then? steam login issue and not the server needing a restart?
