Hello,
Thanks for the great games! Please keep up the good work.

I have both TSF and DSF installed on four devices, and experience the following issue in both cases.

Three devices work perfectly fine (an Android phone, an Android tablet, and a Windows 7 Home 64-bit laptop); however, one device (a Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit laptop) always experiences a significant lag in game play.

This multiplayer environment being discussed is over a local network only.

The symptoms include: audio voice prompts (such as unit construction beginning) seem to be real-time, visual confirmation of unit construction is delayed between 5 and 15 seconds, unit selection and map scrolling etc... are all fine, but clicking to send a unit somewhere, trying to set a rally point, etc... are all severely delayed between 10 and 40 seconds, the delta between what is seen on the Windows 7 Enterprise laptop and what the other devices see can be extreme - sometimes minutes apart. These symptoms occur no matter which of the three "good" devices are hosting, and are independent of direct LAN connection or Wi-Fi.

One other issue of note is that the Windows 7 Enterprise laptop is unable to host. When you try to host with it, the "Loading Game" screen displays for quite a while, before it simply goes back to the main Multiplayer screen (where it is scanning for games)...

When playing the single-player campaigns and tutorial on the Windows 7 Enterprise laptop, there are no issues and the game works perfectly fine.

Please advise if you have any ideas regarding this issue.
Thanks

That's pretty odd. I have Windows 7 Professional, but never tested on Enterprise. Do you have any specific network configuration/software installed for your Enterprise OS vs. your Home OS? I assume they are all in the same network connected via the same router?

If it's not too much trouble, would you mind sending the the log file for your Windows 7 Enterprise computer. You can find it at:
C:/Users/<userhome>/.config/tropicalstormfront/bin/launcher.log

Hi,
Thanks for the quick response. Yes, all the computers are on the same network, via the same router (have tried both Wi-Fi and direct connection).

I'll email you the log file.
Thanks again

Hello,
It seems that this is a result of some group policy or other such security measure installed on my laptop... which I do not wish to edit ;)

At least we know it is not an issue with the game.

Thanks for your help looking into it.
