Battle for Pegasus Prime sounds pretty good to me. In fact I was going to suggest something like that. Where you make up a fantasy world and then call it: ___________ Wars, Example: Aschwanden Wars. :-)

When I saw the sample map, this popped into my head: The Flat Earth Wars or Battle for Flat Earth.

It's hard to come up with a name when you have no experience playing the game.

Thanks for the responses so far banana

Looks like empires at war is gone. Combat tactics probably too.
http://www.empiresatwar.com/

"Battle for Flat Earth" -> how about using Flatland: "Battle for Flatland"?

Other ideas:
. "Rome 2000"
. "**** Empire 2000"
. "...German Reich..."
. "Alternate Timeline"

it's a brainstorming thread, so don't limit yourself :kg:

Maybe, I should provide some additional background information! Again, this is a RTS strategy game. As far as units go, the following will be available:
- Infantry (Tank)
- General (aka Commander)
- Artillery
- Missile Tank (anti-air)
- Reconnaisance Drone (air)
- Attack Drone (air)
- Airship (aka Zeppelin)
- Destroyer (ship)
- Submarine
- Aircraft Carrier
- Cruiser (aka Battleship)
- Transport Ship

In addition, there are base stations to build ground units and shipyards to build water-based units. The units are all listed above.

I am still need the theme of the game, so I guess just finding a name will probably be the lesser problem. The name has to be based on the theme of the game for obvious reasons.

Theme Ideas:
1. Battle for a Planet
2. Battle for Earth in an alternate time line

In regards to 2., I figure it could be an alternate time line where the N A Z I (**** spellchecker) still exists and has expanded. Nations in the game in that scenario are: (a) **** Germany, (b) Russia, (c) Japan and (d) Unified Nations of America (both N. & S. America together). (e) Africa - not sure how to go about that? Middle-East? China?

For 2. this could be the art styles:

http://loboto.deviantart.com/#/d324vlm

I would love to go for 2, but not so sure about it. Let me know your thoughts on that?

I love the idea for a game world where Na.zi Germany still exists. I think that would be very interesting to people.

If going with that idea, perhaps Battle for Earth (insert a year here like). Na.zi's could be one playable faction, the others would be the nations you mentioned. Already I can think of all kinds of specific events that would have happened over the years... but I won't get carried away!

As well as defense turrets and such right? :D

I like that guy's art. Would be cool to see some Na.zi mechs.

"Draft" is cool :kg:
Maybe combine the word with something else to make it little bit more unique? Right now there are about 123 Million pages for "Draft" in Google.

Yeah, I guess the alternate timeline Na.zi Empire still sounds like a good choice. Having a background story would go a long way too!

Battle for Flatland works....I like that too.

Seeing the possible art work and knowing a little more about the game.
I would like to see something that would indicate the word: "Flat" or "Alternate" somewhere in the title.

War On Alternate Flatworld.
Battle for Alternate Earth.
Flatworld
Atlernate Earth
Earth II
Plane Wars
War for Parallel Earth
The Flat World Wars

A historical year can also be applied to the above suggestions.
Example:
The Flat World Wars of 2020.

Flat is a very unappealing word IMO. The name should be something that will catch someone's attention. For instance if it was named "Na.zi World 2011", it would likely peak interest. Not that I think "Na.zi World 2011" is a good name at all, I am just saying the name should in a way relate to the more appealing aspects of the game! Flat is also a word used to describe something dull, lackluster, and even boring.

Please don't take my thoughts on it wrong, I don't mean to attack your idea rudely!

Couple more suggestions...

Conflict: Earth at War
Unconditional War

5th Reich
New World Order

@ Travis - none taken. You raise some good points. However, I like the word flat because of the theory when people thought the world to be flat. What if the world really was flat? The great thing about fiction and games is we can explore and create worlds so why not one that is flat? :-)

I personally have no issue with the words: na_zi and reich but these words still shock and disturb people. As such, a game with these words in their title could attract a lot of attention. It could help prompt the game or really hurt the game. When I was younger, I think I would have been willing to take more chances and say go for it. I really don't care what other people say. However, I'm getting old and I wouldn't want to risk taking that chance. Therefore, I would advice noblemaster to avoid using such words. I could be wrong but I feel the game would have a greater appeal without those words in the title.
