Turn Based (Commander Europe at War, Civ 4 Single Player)
Continuous movement - No
Instant Action resolution - Yes
All players active at the same time - No

Wego (Civ 4 multiplayer)
Continuous movement - No
Instant Action resolution - No
All players active at the same time - Yes

Real Time Turn Strategy (World Empires Live)
Continuous movement - No
Instant Action resolution - Yes
All players active at the same time - Yes

RTS (Starcraft, Europa Universalis, Age of Empires)
Continuous movement - Yes
Instant Action resolution - Yes
All players active at the same time - Yes

So WEL is in the Real Time Turn Strategy category and as far as I know the only game that can be said belonging to the category.

One could say WEL is both turn based and real time :pal:

Does anyone have information whether Civ 4 uses a pure WEGO system where all conflicting moves are done end turn or does it get resvoled instantly?

example 1) Unit A attacks Unit B and Unit B attacks Unit A
example 2) Unit A moves into place X and Unit B moves into place X.

On both examples, when does it in Civ 4 get decided on who did it first and who has to take back the action, after end of turn or instantly?
