1. Is there any reason to have a high happiness? Does it affect taxes? Or is everything above 50% the same? And how is tax calculated?

2. How many action points gets transferred?

3. Millitary upkeep. What might happen if it’s low? Desertion?

4. Population growth. How is it calculated?

1. the lower the happiness the lower the taxes

2. 25%

3. yes, desertion!

4. it's logarithmic. The lower the population, the higher the growth.

I suggest please read the in-game guide! It should mostly be all described there.

It's linear to population size & happiness! Just inc. happiness & see how much it affects income to see if it's worth doing!

About population growth: it is logarithmic and percentage growth decreases higher the population but I wonder if in range of 1 to 1000000 does it always so that raw number of people increase is higher the higher pop despite percentage decrease?

And I found that because of administration spending the increase of happiness is even stronger than u might think first time. For example nation might have 100 net income at 50% and like 300 at 100%. First u might think it just doubles net income but it actually does more.

The population income is proportional to your population. However the administrative fee increases exponentially (it's capped).

I meant that because admin spending is independent from happiness if u pay for admin 500 and earn 600 at 50% happiness then u earn 100 net income but at 100% happiness ur net income will be 700. The numbers are very rough but it shows how happiness is important.

And in pop growth question I wander if it works in the following way: when pop in province is 1000 the growth is 50% when pop is 900000 then its 1 % . So in first case pop will grow by 500 while in second case it grows by 9000 so I wander if the raw amount of pop growth will be bigger the bigger current pop is or i just mess somthing up)
