War. Two kings. One kills the other. Before his death, the king sends all of the funds to his friend (2 move). Result. The winner no gets the Treasury of the vanquished. Friend too not get the money. I believe that this is a mistake. But it is not that the friend needs to the money. This is incorrect. The winner must obtain the Treasury of the vanquished. Even if the money this turn (the time of the murder) was sent to a third party. So be honest.

Your opinion?

Messages are sent before any action is taking place, so a nation has the option to send out his/her funds to an ally before being potentially killed off. However, there is no guarantee to be killed off. Also, the player to be eliminated will probably hardly have any cash left in my opinion. Why not use it to defend instead?

Sent the funds disappear in the event of the death of the king of the sender. Disappear into nowhere. It turns out that the winner gets ravaged country without money. It's not fair. What makes potentially losing player. He burns their province, and sends money to a friend. I believe in the event of death of the king, the money should go to the winner!

I think what petraa is trying to say is that nobody gets those money, they just disappear from the game. Probably a bug?

I think this should be working just fine. They money isn't lost. Either it's taken by the victor or sent to another nation.

However, keep in mind that some players that are about to lose might have their treasury in the negative. It costs gold to maintain troops. So, their treasury might be -240 or so. In that case, the gold (because negative) will neither be given to the victory nor being sent to anyone. It might look as the player had sent the money away, while rather their gold is in the red.

If this is a bug, could someone create a test-case to reproduce?

True. But I also write about that the gold of the deceased king (even sent at the time of death) should go to the winner. Then it would not make sense to burn the provinces.
