to the awesome noblemaster (sent here to be awesome by TexasReb)

it came upon me whilst trying to get a somewhat easy achievement on casual difficulty (get ai to love ya) that the ai have limited opinion/emotion features. it would make the game more varied and problematic if each ai could think in their own way. whether they're all programmed to be different or they're all programmed to be random, it would give people a bigger interest into diplomacy and the options you have with ai whether they're friends or enemies. it'd certainly be more interesting then a simple 'make an alliance so you don't get backstabbed and make war with everyone else'

another idea came across me whilst stumbling upon a disgruntled steam user who left a bad review stating- you don't play with units you play with numbers. and tbh I do agree with him. the only time numbers vs numbers changes is when you fight from sea-to-land or against defences etc. I think a way to counter this (perhaps strenuous but worth it) is if you added more options when building units. instead of just clicking a territory and buying like 100 units or a watchtower, you could instead add different types of units. whether it s a simple -soldier- -archer- -cavalry- etc or a -legionary- -elite spearmen- -chariots- this would make combat much more advanced especially if you added bonuses to units (eg: cavalry can move 2 territories per turn or snipers have bonus in mountains etc) and a system of unit strengths and weaknesses (cavalry bonus v archer, archer bonus vs soldier, soldier bonus v cavalry and perhaps very very advanced if you can be bothered of course ;) ) this adds a new complex layer to your game and encourages players to vary their troops and come up with new strategies. it would be like a free-to-play total war game but with its enormous perks of being a mobile app and simpler (yet with its complex elements)

if you took the time to read this I thank you and thank you TexasReb for bringing me here to even perhaps contributed to improving this game. (also coins are very strict. jeezuz I don't think ill be getting 10000 from championships like)

re-different troop types: not sure if this fits into the concept of Age of Conquest. I think it would turn out to be a different game & I'd rather make it a different game.

However, I am currently also working on Demise of Nations!

It's basically Age of Conquest on Stereoids! I think that is somewhat deeper and has multiple troop types as requested!
