Wow, just hit this in HALO after I stopped pumping my eco at 120% for near the whole game.

I've got somewhere around 200000 troops, I know, not many - it's because I got me alliances right ;)

I have had just under a million and I think TL possibly has too. He posted over on the pond about a really high income once.

I cant remember what the game was called when i had the 900k odd but I came 3rd at the end and both you and Wraith were in it Mabs. I was England. Normally my income is around 300k - 500k at the end of a game. Bear in mind I have only came first once in about 60 odd games so you dont have to have the most provinces.

I did have a habit of seriously pumping my income at the start and not expanding as much after about turn 5 or so but I have stopped doing that. Oddly enough im doing worse now than I did in my earlier games. Hrmm...

I remember that game, but forget the name. I was Hungary and I had a huge income, close to 1 million after expenses. It was a long one, got stalemated for a while and I ended up having to break two alliances just to win. One was Shera but I re-offered after taking exactly 70 provinces so I didn't hurt him too badly.

There was another a while back where I said I had over a million but I lied about that. I was only bringing in about 600K. But I knew my opponent would read my post so I deliberately exaggerated to scare him. Still 600K is a nice chunk of change.

You are allowed to lie on the forums?!? I did't think you were allowed to lie on the internet.

Well, it was at the pond, where this sort of phenomenon has been known to occur from time to time. :ops:

So whats the largest army anyones had? I *think* I had close to 700k when I was attempting to take someones king in Byzantium but I dont remember who and it may have been 400k as that number rings a bell too. Then again maybe 400K is what the enemy had. Gah my brain hurts. Numbers bad.
