In addition, spamming is also a ratio. If there was 4 Clan Members in a 10 player map, them I would say the chance of spamming is very high. However, if I saw 4 Clan Members in a 50 player map, then I would say the chance for spamming is low. Spamming ratio isn't always about team work. A heavy present of a single clan can passively effect the game play too, even if they don't work as a team. The fact you saw 4 GoW in Elaquin game map doesn't mean much unless you state the number of players. Elaquin can be played with 20 or 55 players.

Don't sell the Resistance short. It was much, much more than that. And yes, I was recruited, although I felt much like Shakespeare's Brutus to KH's Cassius.

Anyway it was no vendetta. We didn't go after Marty and the stars for the sake of going after them. We monitored the games they joined, and when we observed them clan-spamming a game we'd join that same game to even the odds a bit. The fact that Marty and his minions had zero chance of success when the playing field is levelled wasn't our fault.

And Kran, you can't be seriously comparing the GOW to the Stars. I myself am currently in a tournament game with 3 (long dead) SRGs and 3 (alive and well) GOWs. The GOWs did not use clanspamming tactics and gang up on other players. In fact Skywatcher is swapping land with Randomnist, allowing him to make conquests that will drop Wodan out of the top 4.

I have no qualms about joining games with 4 GOWs, or with similar numbers of players from most clans, because they're people I know and trust and they won't use clanspamming tactics like Marty and his ilk constantly rely on as a substitute for playing skill.

@TL - sure... ;) :pssst:

I think now all agree the "Resistance" was childish. Since long time i`m not part of the Spammings previously made by the Stars and SRG. ( Most was begginers and havent counted how much starts there was in the game ) But even today, i saw myself in a game with 4 GOW ( Elaquin ), and noone complain or accuse them of cheating. But like everything is past, we must let it go.

Wrong, I complained about the GoW clanspamming that game to everyone I sent a PM about. I just didn't do it on the public board because I didn't want to hear mihelm cry about it. I don't have time for debates with people who are wrong.

I didn't even notice the 4 GoW's until lucjan send the msg. At that point, it was well into the game and I don't know what could be done about it. I'm sure a friendly reminder of such things is needed to help make sure it doesn't happen again.
