I have no problem with KingHoward since he's found more than any other player, that I know of. The king has a nose for it. :p

@ Luc... when u get a chance, zip me a pm with info on how i may best assist u. do we have a forum for discussions?

also... fodder would be a good 3rd investigator in my opinion. there should be at least 1 somewhat mentally stable investigator

Yes, lucjan if there is anything that we should learn, read up on, or whatever let us know.

@KingHoward, Okay, I'll try to be the mentally stable bridge that spans the sane world to the insane world.

@TravisII thanks for pointing out that link. It looks like I have my reading cut out for me, sigh.

Uhh... the last subsection in Travis's link is technically the cheat mod section of the forum, but about 95% of the stuff in there is irrelevant, old news stuff, and we (me, risen, and adame11) ended up communicating much less often in there than via pm or e-mail, because it was just more efficient to do it off the board.

Anyway, I haven't actually visited the investigator's section of the hub in months because I'm the only investigator around. Regardless of how crazy I may be, I don't post to myself. :p

I have classes throughout tomorrow and then a long drive home. After that, I'll happily pick through the things I think are relevant and you guys should read up on. (There aren't many, but it's almost 4am and I really need to get to bed ASAP.)

I'll send you guys both a pm tomorrow night. :^^:

Alright, here are the new rules to identify cheaters.

* Do NOT post in the forums if you suspect someone of cheating! Please PM (=private message) one of the investigators (=Lucjan, Risen, Adame11 (or if you can't (?) Chris, Bolder or me)). They will then investigate and post the results publicly if necessary. This will prevent people from falsely being accused.
* Also, even if nobody is PMing them, I go investigate fraud from time to time!
* Some people suicide into one another. It does NOT automatically mean that someone is cheating. Also, if I send someone "gold", it does not mean I am a cheater either ...
* It can also be that two people who are friends play together, so be absolutely sure they're the same person, not a bunch of friends who aren't a clan

Note: Please don't send me a PM everytime you see someone suiciding. Make sure it happens in other games too ...

let me handle this, hehehhee

I'll add this to my "to do" list. An updated a guideline for reporting and recognizing cheat accounts. Thanks.

I guess it could/should be done via the new private messaging system in the game? I could generate a list of all the admins in the game, so players could contact the admins directly via private messaging.

I figured a [Report] button that comes up for each player which when pressed brings up a list of all the admins available that can be contacted?

Open for suggestion!
