Was thinking 2 separate sets of morale would be interesting. One for troops and one for the populace. The higher the populations morale the happier they are and therefore production go's up (agriculture, industry etc) and it leads to more income.

i like the idea, just not sure how to implement such a concept. currently morale uses a slider bar which effects tax income when moved up or down. i suppose a troop morale slider could be formed, which effects troop salaries and rations when moved up or down? which would cost a percentage of tax income. and perhaps game play factors could also effect troop morale? such as battles won/lost... attacking a former ally/vassal or being attacked by a former ally/vassal... maybe even length of time fighting another kingdom, as long drawn out wars tend to wear on the troops emotionally?

2 separate morale is interesting. If it could be implemented to add a play or strategic value to the game, then perhaps it's something for AOCIV?

Yes, that's something for v4. The thing with morale is, adding it is the easy part. The question is how. It has to make sense to the player too. It should be something that is clear how it works and what its effects are. Just saying it affects the morale etc. is one thing. How to integrate it into game-play is a whole other thing.

Give it a different name. For troops, call it morale. For populace, call it something like happiness or loyalty or enthusiasm or whatever.

You can call it the "Percentage of peons that wants to see the King's head on a pike" rating. :D

There is, but it's like 0.000000001%. Not even worth considering.

We can make that a game pre-set. Howie's economy is permanently hard-coded to 0.000000001%.
