Age of Strategy on the Google play store by Zero Touch Systems boasts over 80 units, from Templars, to Men-At-Arms, from Knights to Crossbow men, there is no shortage of Medieval warfare.

The game places you in a "battle map", hands you a worker and one town, and gives you the freedom to construct stables, fortresses, stone walls, barracks, siege camp's, etc, to destroy your opponents.

The game can be played single player in campaign mode (with over 6 campaign's to wage war in) to an offline Skirmish mode against and with the AI. Age Of Strategy also features multiplayer hotseat where players, as well as AI can battle it out across over 25 maps.

There is an extensive research and upgrade list that you unlock with the spending of gems. Gems can be obtained by: daily Facebook wall posts; writing reviews on forums, completing campaign maps, or donating to the developers. There is no "buy gems" button in game, there are no bogus restrictions anywhere (to include artificial limiters like extremely long time limits) and the game is ENTIRELY free to play.

Pro's: 100% free; tons of units, technology, and upgrades; skirmish mode (singleplayer and multiplayer); extensive campaign's (some of which are hotseatable); dev released map editor.

Cons: becomes tedious managing many units; AI does not upgrade their units (yet).

Hope you enjoy!

Interesting, thanks for the post.
I did notice one more thing that can be added to the con list.
It can only run on Android.

Come on, isn't it obvious. You would want to run games on a computer for the larger view screen and ease of buttons and commands, which makes for a much more enjoyable experience. In some case this could also provide you with a tactical advantage.
