First time attempting to create map. I think it finally turned out OK. I hope you enjoy it.

I like the crinkled look of old paper. Is it an original map or is it a map of a land from a novel or some other source? Anything special about the scenarios or history that we should know about?

It's a map from the Wheel of Time series of novels written by the late Robert Jordan (series is being finished by Brandon Sanderson).

Good to see this map. I've been a fan of the series for years. I'll have to check it out. :D

unfortunatelly, the map is not very good
it would be much better if the borders would be visible
also, I'm afraid one of the islands is conected by land with other provinces

JWMcNiel, be it your first attempt or you Xth attempt. We all make mistakes or forget things. Fortunately you can make corrections and upload your fixes or changes. We all had to go through a learning curve. :-)

sorry, didn't want to hurt or grieve you
just telling maps are better when borders are already visible on image (PNG) file
everyone makes mistakes - we are just people (well, I'm unhuman  )
you created map and topic about it - who will find a mistake or a problem, can describe it here - for you can fix it :)

Since you are the one that uploaded the map, you are the one that needs to fix it. If you want it to be a popular map that is played often, I suggest that you fix it using the constructive criticism that is being provided. No one else is able to update/fix your map as they won't be allowed to upload it. However, someone could upload a map by a new name that's the same as yours, but fixed. But why clutter the map system with 20 versions of the same map?

I agree with ImLagging. I rather see you or any map maker make changes to their own maps so that there is one version of the map and not several version causing clutter. Thanks.

I haven't seen the map, but maps are definitely better with the border lines on the map image itself.

Fortunately there is an easy way to do this, even if all you have is Microsoft Paint.

Go to the General Tab and choose Map Utility. The very first button Border Lines [Export] is to export your Border Lines. Save the image as something like border lines.png. If you need help in putting the image onto your map image, let us know. If you have a nicer program like Photoshop or Gimp, you can make them look better than just simple lines as well.
