Wow, that map is great. It even has types of terrains, and rivers that help making up the provinces.

Good luck with the map Alex. :hurra: :jump: :hurra: :jump: :hurra:

I'm not completely up to speed on copyright laws, but IIRC they lapse after either 25 or 50yrs, so we *may* be ok to create a ME based campiagn map. ;)

Not sure what you are implying here? Wait for 25/50 years -OR- we can use the map?

I don't know how old the map is??? You seem to have seen it before. I just found it in the Internet, no clue where from?

Meh... Its not like anyones making money off it, and although the Tolkien estate are notoriously picky about the license its probably far below their threshold...

I was sure i posted in here..... wheres it gone?

Anyway, what i said was that the Tolkein estate would almost certainly sue..... they always do....

You'd need to buy a licence to use the data

Can I point out that the far bigger mod for RTW has not been stopped, and this is a none profit orginisation, we are not using any media or film footage, or any books. So therefore we should be alright.

That means we can use the map? We will modify it anyway to fit into the game, but using the map would definitly be cool?
