Thought I'd post this here in case it could help other modders.

Is it possible to change the appearance of cities depending on the nation that controls them? (or more precisely their culture, like Modern, Asian, Western…)

Currently I know that I can change the culture/appearance of a settlement in the Editor for each territory.
But that appearance doesn't change if the territory is captured. I would like, for example, the settlement to change to Asian if it's captured by an Asian nation. I thought the Zombies could do that in their scenario but apparently not.

Is it something that can be done and scripted currently?

That's currently not possible. Each province has a fixed defined culture. Does that make much sense though? On the other hand, it's a game, so I can see why not?

Ok, just wanted to make sure. I can work around that.

I thought it would make a bit of sense for Zombies for example, as they would wreck and damage any city they conquer. And then 'humans' would clean it back up when retaking it. :-)
But I agree it would not make too much sense, for, say, a whole city to transform from Modern to Asian when captured. Or would it? It's a game indeed…

Anyway, it would be cool to have that option but that may not be worth the re-coding.
