Indeed, but i guess you miss the point of TotalLoss.
A player pay for 1 main account.
He can join/create games for 1 years.
But he can also join theses games with alt free accounts.
the 7 day trials give you the right to join/create only for 7 days but you can finish your games, right ?
So every week he can create new 7 days account to join the game he has joined with his main account.
Actually we have thought that cheater won't buy several account to cheat, but we were wrong, as TotalLoss noticed it they can cheat for free, they just need to buy a main account and cheat with free one.

New accounts have a 7 day free trial, but are able to continue playing in games that they've joined before their trial is over. However, the legal issues may change from one country to another when someone pays for a service and is then "banned" from using that service. That will be a major sticking point in any decision to ban the original account.

aye... there's a protocol to follow when disabling accounts. :pal:

let me make this perfectly clear... cheaters who repeatedly cheat will repeatedly get penalized. the most plausible reason to cheat is to gain rating... therefore, the most plausible deterrant to cheating is to penalize rating. which fodder and/or i will do whenever necessary, and as often as necessary. spanking

special cases - such as involvement of paid accounts, serial cheating, etc... - will be discussed and resolved on a case-by-case basis by the investigators (and Noblemaster when applicable). :happyx:

Did you copy URL from within your email? If so, that doesn't work. Get a better image host. I can't even view the image by copying the URL from your post.

If you buy something, you enter some kind of treaty. In this case, you do not buy the game but a license to play the game. If it is part of the license (text), that you must not use more than one account, all players who do so violate against that treaty they have agreed to - and Noblemaster ought to have the right to regard that treaty as broken and not fulfill his part (to provide access to the game).

Just an idea.

That may be so, but online virtual good are a different animal then walking into a store to buy something. Plus, Paypal is inconsistent with handling disputes. I won't get into some of the potential issues publicly where someone can read about them.

Regardless of the legal rights of either Noblemaster or his licensees, it is probably not worth the hassle for Noblemaster to cope with claims that might arise from cancellation of a paid account.

My idea:

Scarlet Letter
Put some sort of designation in the players profile that identifies him/her as a cheat. (Perhaps a count of times caught cheating). That way other players are on notice and can decide a course of action for themselves.

Elaboration on my Scarlet Letter idea.

Instead of posting the person as a cheat. Simply create a section in his profile that show aka's

This alerts all players that the guy has multiple accounts and gives a name to them. That brings up a further thought. Why not just legitimize multiple accounts? That would make it easy to capture aliases. Then create a option set by the game creator that specifies:

Single account players only.

Might cut down on the angst.

I believe Noble Master Games have clearly written out that you should play fairly, ie. no alt-accounts and respect your fellow player, ie: no inappropriate language. Either of these should be grounds for getting banned. I believe other game company ban players on these grounds so I don't know why Noble Master Games can't. However, this is an issue best left to noblemaster to look into and decide upon.

There are some good suggestions here. Keep the ideas coming.

Here's an idea. I would like to see the Free 7 day trail accounts to be a little more like the v2 accounts. In the sense that they should be allowed to join any UNRATED game during the 7 day period and that they can NOT create games.

That should destroy cheat for free !
Sounds good !
But let them create unrated games, so they won't have to find someone to create game for them, the more they play the most they may upgrade.
